Welcome! My name is Jill Griffin, and my students call me Ms. Jill. I have been a musician for as long as I can remember and have played the violin since childhood. Since beginning my teaching career in 2013, I have been passionate about guiding students toward confident, healthy, and expressive musicianship.

I am trained in the Alexander Technique and Art of Freedom, approaches that support ease of movement, body awareness, and musical freedom. These methods are woven into my violin instruction to help students play comfortably while developing strong technique and artistry. As a member of the Music Teachers Association of California (MTAC), I also offer Certificate of Merit preparation for dedicated students seeking structured goals and performance opportunities.

My studio provides a creative, encouraging, and flexible environment where students of all levels can thrive. I work closely with families to offer scheduling options that fit modern, busy lives while maintaining consistent musical growth.

Please explore the site for rates, scheduling, resources and studio policies, and feel free to share this page with anyone who may be interested in violin lessons.

MTAC member since 2018.

Welcome!
